Salicylic acid application is pretty simple. The Light Routine® Gentle salicylic acid treatment should be used once weekly for 8 to 10 weeks. First, cleanse your skin properly with a gentle cleanser and allow the skin to dry completely. Now follow through with a gentle application of Light Routine® Gentle salicylic acid. Pour about 2-3 drops of the peel onto your palm and gently apply a single coat of the product evenly over the face and the neck. Start with the forehead, proceed to your cheeks and finish with the central face. The application time should not exceed 30 seconds. Wash off the product with cold water after 60 seconds. Avoid getting the product on the lips and around the eyes. Use a gentle cleanser and ensure complete removal of the product. Make sure your cleanser is mild and does not contain any hydroxy acids. Applying salicylic acid should be gentle, avoid rubbing, as this can lead to patchy and uneven penetration of the product.
